Shop local and you get exactly what you pay for. Experienced florists make a bouquet specifically for you - taking into account any special instructions and it will be delivered by hand or left in a safe place or with a neighbour if the recipient is out. 

Shop elsewhere and they'll then take a percentage of your money (30% it about the norm) and either send the order to a local florist (who has to make it look like what you've paid for with far less £££) or get it made in a warehouse and send it via courier who will probably just leave it on the doorstep, even if nobody's home.
